Yes and no. There is a variation of where the hands are in relation to the ball with a driver. They are either in line with the ball, or slightly behind the perpendicular ball hands line.

Thanks for the answer Louis. Am I correct in saying the hands are closest to the body with a wedge and furthest away from the body with the driver!
