Feel Your Perfect Golf Swing Impact

The golf swing impact is a mirror of your address position.

If you have addressed the ball correctly as we have discussed then you can feel what the impact should feel like.

Simply take up your address position and turn the hips slightly to the target, lift the right foot a little as shown in these pictures.

Weight is fully over the left foot and head still behind the ball.

Impact is just an exaggerated position to addressing the ball.

The arms started the swing together and stay together throughout the swing and the left hip is over the left foot.

A good idea here is to push an umbrella or a broken shaft into the ground next to your left foot.Practice getting to impact and bump the umbrella. This will give you the feeling of this dynamic movement.

A side view showing you the extent of the hip turn in relation to the shoulders and arms staying square to the intended target.

Posture remains in the same position as at address. Very important for a solid strike.

Arms are still together at impact, proof that
they are in sync with the body turn.
