Across the line swing

Getting much better, played about 5 times since your tip and have a lesson booked.

I am shooting in the low 80's, and aiming for 75's or so. Need to sharpen the short game right now, and it's early in the season still.

I took my 3 iron out of the bag and put in a 7 wood in and it feels good. I hit it about 205 - 215 and high,it's great out of the rough.

Still a little hookish with my driver/3 wood at times - only when I get handsy! thanks again,
Mike

Response from Louis

Yes, those are great club changes you have made! and sharpening the short game will definitely get you on the road to shooting mid 70's scores.

Thanks for your rapport back!

Response to the tip

Thanks Louis,
I also read the "3 feels" I should have on my back swing you have on here.

I tried the drills but I still had the feeling of being to handsy and not turning properly.

I like what you wrote here to help me out...
I used to play by feel tee to green but have gotten real technical with full shots...I'm trying to simplify things hopefully this one piece takeaway drill will help.

Response from Louis

Mike I agree, it is very easy to get handsy in the take away. Feel the arms and shoulders getting pulled along with the move and you will be ok!

Thanks for getting back!
