Learn to Feel Your Golf Swing
and get results

Golf swing feeling is about learning how to “feel” your swing and every other golfing technique used in playing golf like pitching, chipping and putting, and of course the full swing.

So why should you base your learning on feeling your swing?

Simply put, feeling the correct moves accelerates and improves your swing action and once this is in your memory you will experience permanent and positive changes to your swing action and be able to repeat it more often.

This does not come without a price. What I mean is you need to first gain a better understanding of the basic fundamentals, ie the correct golf grip, posture, stance, and balance, and how to apply them. You can learn more here and make better swings more often and achieve consistency sooner.

Feel is easier to apply to your swing than you think and can be incorporated seamlessly into your existing technique. All it takes is some perseverance, practice and a little practice.

When I started golf at the age of 5 the proper golf grip, posture, stance and balance were drilled into me till I could repeat them without thinking. In those days every golfer learned by feel, reading books from the greats and studying the pictures in these books.

Studying these books shaped my swing and teaching career much later on as I studied players like Ben Hogan, Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player, Byron Nelson, and Arnold Palmer to name a few. Since then I have also studied other instructors.

The pages of this site are filled with all my personal experiences as well as researched ideas of what to feel in your swing to get more consistency. Every word written about feel I have personally tried and tested and used with much success taking out all the guess work for you.

Without a doubt every golfer wants a more consistent swing. I have heard those words thousands of times from golfers and students that have come to me for lessons over the years. It is the first thing they ask me to help them with. Many have never forgotten the simple feelings I taught them.

Modern day instruction steers away from feeling and pushes the focus more toward methods of swinging and positions you must reach. Eg: one plane swing, stack and tilt and a few others.

My question to you is..

What is the point of learning those methods or techniques if you don’t have a grasp of basic swing fundamentals and the effects they have on ball flight and the club face angle at impact?

To make it easier for you to improve I have written an e-book, Classic Golf Swing Lessons, to also assist you in developing the correct feelings with guaranteed results.

The book goes beyond the pages of this site giving you a really simple way to build all your golfing techniques with exercise drills to feel your swing moves, improve your swing sequence and hit the ball farther with more consistency. You get my full email support when you buy the book.

If you are unsure about how to change or what you should work on, you are welcome to contact me and ask advice. I have helped many visitors already with their golf problems. Please ask your question in the correct section namely, golf help or golf grip help.

Make your start now with the golf swing fundamental feelings.

These are the first critical steps you need to get right in developing a sound consistent swing.

Hope you enjoy the site and do come back soon!

Your teacher,

Louis

What Famous Players say about Feel in the Golf Swing.

Bobby Jones:"the primary aim of teaching must be to communicate to the golfer the feel of making a proper golf stroke."

Ben Hogan:"I am an advocate of the kind of teaching which stresses the exact nature and feel of the movements a player makes to achieve the results he wants."

Gary Player:"There is a definite "feeling" and this feeling is to be developed and looked for"

Jack Nicklaus"To me, once your mechanics are reasonably sound, Feel becomes the critical factor."

Arnold Palmer"In all my years, I’ve learned that touch means more than mechanics."

Just wanted you to know that I copied your grip and setup. Along with hinging the wrists as you instruct, I am striking the ball so much better. Nice and crisp coming off the club. Just wanted to thank you....big difference. Mark, Maryville TN
